Easy I Love Lemon Trifle for a Crowd
Prepare and bake I Dream of Lemon Pound Cake mix in 8 x 8 pan according to package directions. Cool completely. Cut cake into 1 cubes and set aside.
Layer 1/2 lemon cake cubes in the bottom of trifle bowl or hurricane dish. Drizzle with 3 Tablespoons Raspberry Sauce, top with 1/2 each of the, lemon sauce, raspberries, then whipped topping in that order. Repeat layer starting with cake, raspberry sauce, lemon sauce, raspberries and the whipped topping. Garnish top with lemon curls** and 3 fresh raspberries. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
* To make freshly whipped cream, whip 12oz heavy cream with 2 Tablespoons confectioners sugar until stiff.
** To make a lemon curl, use a carrot peeler to peel one 2 long peel from the outside skin of one washed lemon. Twist peel and place on top of trifle.
